Celebrating a Life Well-Lived
It is with profound sorrow and deep reverence that we announce the earthly transition of Gregory “Stinky” Allen, who peacefully entered eternal rest on September 9, 2026. Born on October 26, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, Gregory lived a life defined by hard work, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family and community.
He was a proud member of the Bankhead Courts community and attended Job Corps, where he received career training in construction. Gregory worked at D & H Construction for 30 years. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend whose presence brought laughter, guidance, and strength to all who knew him. Gregory was funny, loved his daughters dearly, loved to dance, and was a loyal fan of the Miami Dolphins.
Gregory was preceded in death by his mother, Jacquelyn Hose-Allen; his father, Willie Allen; his baby sister, Yolanda Bridges; and his baby brothers, Gary Allen and Willie B. Allen. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his children, Santana (Dexter) Allen and Brittany (Calvin) Allen; his grandchildren, Benjamin Mumpfield and Kyler Choates; his sister, Veronica Pressley; his brother, Michael Hose; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry his love in their hearts.
